Wipro looking at acquisitions and rightly so

Indian IT major Wipro is making up big expansion plans and it is looking towards medium sized firms for acquisition. Though the information is premature and no details are available, it needs to be seen how much it materializes.

In my opinion, recession period is the right time to go in for as much acquisition as possible. It is like a discount sale, with small and medium companies who have suffered huge losses and with their share values down, those who have money are the kings. Hence, in an industry which is slowly stabilizing itself and coming out of the recession, it is indeed a good move to think about acquisitions. If it is not now, then it will be very late.
