Magazines:

Even print Magazines (other than computer, travel, leisure etc.,) have some restrictions from this season on.

Read the complete Terms of Use and Other FAQs here and here.

Our views:

1. Media is getting more pressure from IPL for sure. More and more restrictive rules have been coming up since the first season.

2. How could a sport magazine like SportsStar narrate a IPL story without photos ? And how could a TV channel show no more few seconds of IPL game videos ?

3. Are professional blogs and Online Cricket Commentary and Scorecards websites going to be added to these restrictive rules in the forthcoming IPL seasons ?

4. Theres not much mention about IPL Anonymous Blogs. Last season, anonymous blog went on to a massive hot and even they got covered by media. (Damn, that anonymous IPL blogger didn’t keep his promise of revealing his identity at the end.).

IPL cannot monitor all small TV channels and file a case & sue them, highly impossibile! Every state has 1000s of TV channels including local channels and ten thousand of websites around the globe live streaming the IPL cricket including famous sites ustream.tv. I don’t think IPL has time to sue everyone, this is just to threaten people, I am sure once IPL starts, people wil be busy in other stuff!
Anyways lets wait n watch, Lalit modi may be coming up with other crazy things too by getting partnership with Google or other companies :) He plays IPL very defensive before even the match starts!
