Like a phoenix, the  job hoppers are back into IT industry. After the worst economic recession after the great depression caused severe damage to the IT industry and employees preferring to hold on to their seats , whatever be the cost, the season has changed.

The hay days are back for the IT employees and HR’s are having a tough time arresting the attrition. There have been news of 100% hike being offered by rival firms for the right candidate.

So even though, the companies have started giving back the hikes, the retention bonuses and the other perks which was curtailed during the recession phase, companies are still finding it difficult to match 100% hike which the rivals are offering. It is time HR’s pull up their socks and retain their key talents before it is too late for them.

One such incident was of a Oracle database guy jumping boats from Wipro to Accenture at a whooping 100% hike. Though Wipro offered 40% to him to stay back , the smart guy chose to shift boats for better pay. Indeed it seems good days are back for the IT industry.
