We covered about thestorez.com in one of the articles earlier. We were trying to reach the founders to get some questions answered for our blog readers and also to all who buy books online. Here we go, we received genuine replies from Arvind (co-founder of thestorez.com)
As an online book buyer, I have a few questions to thestorez.com
1. Do I get any discounts if I bulk, say more than 10copies?
Yes, the customers buying in bulk (for multiple copies of the same book) can contact us through this link: http://www.thestorez.com/contacts, and we can always work out a better discount based on the books and where we need to send it.
2. Do I get any advantages if I refer my friends?
Currently, we do not yet have a referral scheme. We will surely let you and the readers of this blog know special offers and deals from time to time.
3. How your rates & discounts are competitive when compared to some other rivals in the market? How can I buy with a confidence that thestorez.com is cheap or equal than other online book stores? consumer confidence?
The list price for a book should mostly be the same across all bookstores and the selling price will keep varying throughout based on offers, discounts which keep varying from time to time and is different for different books. Being an online bookstore, our overheads tend to be lesser that a physical bookstore and hence we are able to offer almost upto 25% discount. The discounts are based on multiple factors, and we guess we have reasonably priced the books. It will be inaccurate to call ourselves the cheapest bookstore, but we do try to ensure that the experience in buying a book through us should be among the best. Overall best service is what we strive for first, and we guess we are slowly getting there.
