ISB will be doing a post-mortem sort of study with IPL including the T20 format, its revenue model, the hype and the hoopla surrounding the event, the game of cricket and its entertainment value, the opportunities IPL has created and the difficulties it encountered during its second season when the event had to be shifted to South Africa due to general elections in India.

The study is bound to feature, how IPL changed the way cricket is played not only in India but worldwide and how the loyalty of players saw a paradigm change where they preferred their clubs over their country because of the immense money minting capabilities of IPL.
