Uninor unveils 2 paisa/min plan – dead cheap rates for local Uninor network in Karnataka
Mobile tariffs undergo cuts yet again! Uninor has slashed local in-network tariffs to as low as 2 paisa / min to its Karnataka subscribers starting yesterday. Uninor has been launching several customer friendly plans of late and in its latest offering for its Karnataka customers call rates are dropped to at 2p/min within the local Uninor network.
However, this Uninor slashed tariff plan is available only in selected recharge denominations and for Karnataka customers only. Haven’t heard about any of their latest slashed tariff plans extended beyond Karantaka circle. Touted to be one of the best offerings in the market for local network calls, Uninor expects the local subscriber count to shoot up as these kind of plans can spread by word of mouth and pull in new member through existing customers.
Meanwhile, Uninor is said to be one of the beneficiaries of the 2G spectrum scam and there is rumour that licenses of all scammed operators would be cancelled. Nothing official yet, we got to wait and see how these new license holders face CBI’s heat.
