By Poonam Singhal on 12 February, 2010, 7:31 am

After the hiring news from Infosys and TCS, we have hiring news from another Indian IT giant, Wipro.

Wipro is also back on its hiring spree, and is set to hire 7,500 freshers. For this, Wipro will visit the campuses to get a hold of the 2010 pass-outs. It plans to recruit both engineers and non-engineers.

Wipro also gave salary hikes to all its employees, from February 1. The hike is in the 8% to 12% range mostly, and it may be 15% for some.

Wipro also expects the Jan-Mar ’10 quarter results to be better than the previous quarter.

Good news pouring in for Wipro-ites from all avenues.

All the freshers, passing-out in 2010, need to bug-up and get ready for all the companies coming your way.

Good luck and All the best!

There are lots of fresh graduates opening in many good companies and you can start applying from now. To start with, choose the domain you want to be in and apply for it. If you look at the sidebar of this site, there is a job search box and you can start applying from there.

The problem is not with hiring for freshers of 2010, will the companies really call them in time or withhold like they did last year. Anyways lets keep our fingers crossed and hope they call all the students this year if they got a placement offer!
