After a year where we saw only 75% students getting placed in an institute of statue of IIT Delhi, comes some relief. The pre-placement offers this year are looking good so far. The offers are better both in terms of number of offers and the salaries offered. Pre-placements are the job offers made to students after the summer internship and before the actual placements and this can give a feel of the market which is turning back on its wheels. Though the picture is no where near to the one which was existing during 2007 and 2008 during the boom time, still the picture is better than last year and it is indeed a news of some relief to all. Hope it’s a tangent curve from here on.
