Mizoram Christians afraid of Unique IDs – UID feature akin to Bible’s Devil/Beast identity

There are people in India who still believe in superstitious ideas. In fact, Mizoram people are a step ahead, refusing to get enrolled under the nation’s prestigeous Unique ID project. And, the reason being pure superstitious.

Around 3000 people of eight districts in Mizoram, who are mostly Christians could not be enrolled during the ongoing census 2010 process. These people refused to go under the national population registry unanimously and are ready to face the law and punishment for their actions.

When enquired, these people did not oppose to be counted for census, but refused to be “marked” with the Unique ID. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) lays down several conditions and one being …

no one can buy or sell property without the Unique ID — UIDAI

According to Mizoram people, marking with an Unique ID is akin to Bible’s Beast or Devil identity. The fear of being identified with the ‘number of the beast’ roots from the Bible’s Revelation chapter 13 Verse 17 which says …

…and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.  –  Bible

Well, I broke into laughter after hearing the reason for Mizoram people refusing to get marked with Unique IDs. If they were to go with Bible, why do they have any sort of unique ids with them – like mobile numbers ?. These people are pure superstitious! Isn’t it ?

    I understand that if you’re not a christian you will likely to laugh about it, and I’m not going to try explaining it to you. But if you study carefully about how this world is heading for a New World Order, you will not be laughing about it. After 1st world war, League of Nations emerged, after 2nd world war, United Nations emerged and after world war 3, New World Order will emerge where every countries will be under one dictator (Youtube – Invisible Empire ); with cashless biometric ID system where the Govt will control every financial transactions and the people will become slave. These are all planned by Albert Pike in 1871 and the two world wars happened exactly as planned (google Albert Pike world wars ). After world war 3, there will be no middle class except the Govt Masters and their slaves. It has all been planned ( the Bible has already warned us even if you don’t believe it) by secret societies working in tandem with the Roman Catholic Church (Bible believing christians are very different from Roman Catholics and are against them). You need to google Freemasons, Jesuits, Illuminati, New world order etc. and find out how, “The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes” (Benjamim Disraeli British PM 1868). I have studied a lot about this and I can write a book about it, but there is enough information on the Internet already for everyone to see.

    the author should have been sensible toward the mizo’s beliefs. there are many many things in hindu beliefs which are considered STUPID still they ardently follow it…. so, kindly mind your language, and if you can’t, you better not write any thing that may offend a community.

      sorry, if I have insulted your religious beliefs and no intentions of that sort. just couldn’t digest the practice of superstitious ideas in the name of GOD and it exists in all religions.

    Goes to show why India is not yet ready for something like UID yet! It is a long way for India, Mr. Kalam has to wait!
