The latest movie making all the noise in bollywood has adopted a unique way to kill video piracy. The makers of the film have decided to release the film legally on internet and youtube for people to download. This after numerous complaints of higher ticketing prices being charged for the movie in multiplexes.

The decision of when to do this will be announced later. Also, discussions are on about releasing it in mobiles if it is possible. This trend is fresh in the movie industry to kill the piracy. We have seen movies being telecast in Dish channels within months of its release. Will internet release start a new trend altogether?

It is worthwhile to mention that the book Five point Someone, on which the movie is apparently based on, is one of the cheapest novels available. So are other books from the same author Chetan Bhagat. This helped to kill the duplicate versions of the book which people ought to buy from platform shops due to high pricing of the book. Looks like not only the story is inspired from the book but other marketing tactics and money minting ideas as well. Let’s hope this plan works out!!
