Gtalk, Skype and other VOIP services will no more work in India ?

We have many Free Internet Telephony services in India. Gtalk, Skype, Yahoo voice chat, Windows Live, jaxtr etc., offer excellent Internet Telephony services for Free in India. Also, over 30 ISPs in India offer Net Telephony services legally. Millions of people enjoy free internet telephony and TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) data shows that there were over 130 million minutes of internet telephony calls for Jan to March 2009. But, Internet telephony have been the best way for communication for terrorists as well. Especially in countries like India. As India doesn’t have proper telephony infrastructure, its next to impossible to trace out these internet telephony calls. Also, we don’t mechanisms to live trace …So, The IB (Intelligence Bureau) has asked the communication ministry to block all internet telephony (VoIP) services to and from the country until the Department of Telecom (DoT) puts in place a mechanism to track such calls. Aircell following TATA DocoMo’s Pay Per Second Plan – Aircel launches 1 paisa per second calling throughout India

It was TATA DoCoMo (GSM Mobile service) which first introduced Pay Per Second plan. DoCoMo’s novel mobile tariff plan definitely created a stir in the Indian telecom space. If not, why should Aircell rush up with a similar plan. Yeah, Aircel Kolkata announced a very similar mobile scheme as that of TATA DoCoMo’s – Pay Per Second plan. … All new customer will be charged at 1 paisa per second for all local and STD calls to any mobile/landline network across India. There is small catch in the STD rates however. The STD calling at 1 paisa will be applicable up to first 30,000 seconds only. After that 2 paisa per second will be charged in that month to any network across India. Where as, TATA DoCoMo provides STD at 1 paisa for first 27,000 seconds only. Aircel mobile’s existing customer can activate the plan by calling toll free number 121 from their mobile without any extra cost. Reliance, Airtel, IDEA — Are you guys watching out ?
